Atlanta Church Creatives began because the people helping others worship, connect, and receive needed a place to experience those things themselves.

How it began
One search became
a shared table.
When Ellis moved to Atlanta in 2019, he was serving in church media ministry but struggling to find genuine community with people who understood the creative and spiritual weight of the work. The pandemic made that isolation even more visible.
In 2021, while considering a move back to North Carolina, he felt the conviction that he was in Atlanta for a reason. He began praying for like-minded people, found other church creatives searching for the same thing, and started making space for them to gather.

The story so far
A clear reason
After a season of isolation and considering a move home, Ellis felt called to stay and build the community he could not find.
The room grew
Atlanta Church Creatives launched first, in-person meetups followed shortly after, and Monday Breakfast came later as the community continued to grow alongside workshops, Xperiences, conferences, and worship nights.
A growing room
The community keeps creating places where church creatives can be known, renewed, equipped, and connected.
